Cyanotype Recipe
The cyanotype process is a simple and low-cost method of contact printing on paper or natural fabrics using a UV source (commonly the sun), and developing the result in water, resulting in a distinct Prussian Blue print.
The light-sensitizing formula used to coat the paper is made of two solutions, combined using a 1:1 ratio.
The recipe I use for my workshops is:
If desired the print intensity can be boosted by rinsing first in a tray of white vinegar.

- Solution A: 25g Ferric ammonium citrate (green) and 100ml distilled water.
- Solution B: 10g Potassium ferricyanide and 100ml distilled water.
